Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at UPMC-GoHealthUrgentCare provides imaging services across our urgent care centers, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. You’ll support clinicians, ensure patient safety, and help maintain patient records with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required if applicable by state law.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures and imaging for patients of all ages.
• Position patients and protect them during imaging.
• Report results and support providers with imaging process.
• Maintain patient records and ensure department workflow.
• Adhere to radiation safety and QA/QC protocols.
