Job summary

Mercyhealth in Illinois seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures. The role follows ALARA principles, reviews clinical history, and documents data in the EMR. It includes patient education and potential on-call responsibilities.

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with ARRT registration is required; 1–3 years experience preferred, new graduates welcome. CPR/BLS certification within 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography registration required.
• Will consider new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and selects exposure factors following ALARA.
• Ensures patient safety and provides patient education.
• Reviews clinical history and documents all procedure data in EMR.
• Provides supervision and instruction to radiography students when applicable.
