Job summary

Radiologic Technologists perform routine and complex diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, high-quality images, and adherence to departmental protocols. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor's preferred), MA Radiographer license, ARRT certification, and experience in Diagnostic Radiology; BLS certification is required for senior technologists.

Additional duties include mentoring staff, supporting daily operations, troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions and verify patient identity.
• Select appropriate imaging equipment and settings.
• Assess patient needs and explain procedures clearly.
• Practice ALARA radiation safety and adhere to protocols.
• Follow Quality Control workflows and participate in high reliability training.
• Mentor junior staff and support daily operations.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and stay current with regulations.
