Overview

• Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients in ambulatory settings, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.

Job Description

Performs general diagnostic radiological imaging of patients, including positioning for correct anatomy/pathology demonstration, operating radiation equipment, managing electronic radiology systems, preparing patient rooms/equipment/medications, and maintaining supply inventory. Explains procedures to patients and completes departmental documentation. Will consider registry-eligible graduates who must be registered within 180 days of hire.

Education

• ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade School Certificate

Certification/Licensure

• ARRT certification
• Optional: Certification or License
• Alternatively, no specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience

No experience in x-ray required.
