Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the FFCHC Urgent Care Clinic in Traverse City. This role involves day shifts, patient care management, and compliance with safety standards. Candidates must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and be certified by the ARRT. Strong focus on quality patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Annual BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations for optimal patient care.

• Provide immobilization and protection according to safety standards.

• Location: 550 Munson Avenue, Traverse City, MI
• Schedule: 32-40 Hours Weekly, Sunday to Saturday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (12 Hour Shifts - 3 Days a Week)

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care and support teammates and providers when necessary.
• Manage patient care from arrival to departure, ensuring courteous, tactful, and discreet handling of patients with a focus on quality care and patient safety.
• Transfer and properly position patients for examinations to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
• Provide immobilization and protection as required, complying with prescribed safety standards.

Work four days a week, avoiding evenings, nights, and on-call obligations, providing a balanced schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved course curriculum in Radiologic Technology, either in a hospital or college-based school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must have passed or be eligible for the examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Continued employment is provisional based on completion and certification by the ARRT within six months. Registered technologists must be in good standing.
• BCLS certification required annually.

Requirements

• Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
• All employees must receive a flu vaccine during flu season in the year hired and annually thereafter, unless an approved medical or religious exemption is provided.
