Job summary

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP), now part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist Instructor to lead externship development and student placement at CHCP campuses. You will recruit sites, monitor compliance, and mentor students preparing for professional roles.

You will collaborate with campus leadership to ensure high-quality externships, guide students through career development, and support placement efforts after graduation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of LMRT program or certificate.
• 3+ years of experience, or 2+ years with an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for teaching, mentoring, and student success.

Responsibilities

• Maintain federal, state and accreditation compliance.
• Recruit and maintain extern sites; market to the medical community.
• Ensure sufficient externship sites and meet company metrics.
• Serve as liaison between students, faculty and externship providers.
• Assist students into employment after graduation.
• Counsel students not attending externship as scheduled.
• Track attendance and ensure all records are filed.
• Update and maintain affiliation agreements.
• Monitor timesheets and site evaluations.
• Conduct externship orientation and weekly site visits.
• Attend staff and student orientation.
• Keep accurate records and organized documentation.
