CHCP is seeking a Radiologic Technologist – Externship Coordinator to support LMRT externships and connect students with clinical partners. The role emphasizes relationship-building with hospitals, imaging centers, and physician offices, ensuring students gain valuable hands-on experience.

The ideal candidate has radiology experience, strong communication, and organizational skills, with a passion for mentoring students and aligning activities with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• LMRT program or certificate with 3+ years of related experience.
• Radiologic Technology Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, imaging centers, and other clinical sites to support externship placements.
• Coordinate student externship placements and ensure preparedness for clinical sites.
• Serve as liaison between LMRT students, faculty, and clinical supervisors.
• Monitor student progress, attendance, and evaluations throughout externships.
• Maintain accurate student records, timesheets, and affiliation agreements.
• Provide externship orientations and guidance on professional expectations.
