Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Department for the evening shift. The role includes coverage of the Emergency Department OR, Surgi Center, Portables, and Fluoro, with a weekend rotation every 4th and will require working every other holiday.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate Degree in Radiology Science, ARRT certification, Delaware license, CPR certification, and demonstrate flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science required.
• ARRT registered technologist preferred or required.
• Delaware license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot radiographic equipment.
• Develop and identify radiographs with correct film/date/time.
• Cover the Emergency Department OR, Surgi Center, portable units, and fluoroscopy.
• Assist with training radiology students.
• Perform QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and Digital Radiography systems.
• Operate Philips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon equipment.
