Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiology services per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will prepare radiology rooms, develop images, maintain equipment, and follow safety policies while delivering courteous, professional care to diverse patients.

Responsibilities include performing general radiographic and specialty procedures, documenting in the RIS, and collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program by time of hire.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in performing required procedures with strong communication and problem solving with physicians, customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images using clinical protocols.
• Position patient to demonstrate the area of interest while respecting comfort.
• Obtain images with proper radiographic techniques and evaluate image quality.
• Input patient data into RIS and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality and follow radiation safety rules.
• Coordinate training and orientation for new staff and support lead technologists.
