Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives St. Vincent Hot Springs is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images across X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

You will assess patients of all ages, gather history, determine care needs during procedures, and document assessments. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire
• Graduate of a military program accredited by JRCERT, upon hire
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 months
• Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Responsibilities

• Completes a comprehensive assessment on patients of all ages including patient screening and contraindications
• Obtains pertinent medical history from patients by observation or with oral communication
• Performs patient assessment to determine: Patient’s physical ability to undergo the imaging procedure as needed
• What patient care is needed during the procedure
• What modification of the procedure may be required by the age of the patient
• Utilizes patient clinical assessment and patient clinical history in making professional judgment that supports the plan of patient care and properly documents the patient assessment and clinical history
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
• Capable of using EHR
