Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an overnight shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM) to perform radiographic procedures for diagnostic interpretation. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for offers accepted by July 31, 2026, with terms applying.

*Hours: Overnight - Sun-Thurs - 11:00PM - 7:30AM

The practice of radiography is performed by radiologic technologists responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans of all ages (newborn to geriatric) for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.

Knowledge and Competency

• Novice-level experience. Competent in routine studies.

• Working knowledge of technical standards, the scope of practice, department and health system policies, safety, and service standards.

Education, Certification & Experience

• The position requires certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or must obtain within the first 90 days of hire.
