Job summary

Sinai Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and produce high-quality radiographs under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, operating x-ray equipment (C-arms, DR/CR, fluoroscopy), labeling with two identifiers, PACS/RIS case verification, and patient-friendly exam explanations. An accredited associate degree is required and ARRT eligibility is necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT approved).
• Must be eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment and perform imaging procedures across settings.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust immobilization to obtain optimal views.
• Operate fixed and portable x-ray equipment including C-arms and fluoroscopy.
• Label images with two patient identifiers and correct study descriptions.
• Verify cases in PACS and complete RIS entries in a timely manner.
• Provide patient comfort, explain procedures, and maintain high customer service.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper shielding practices.
