UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to conduct diagnostic procedures and assist in complex radiographic processes. You will ensure patient safety and comfort while preparing and administering contrast media and medications during examinations.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences and must be registered or eligible to register within one year. This position requires strong knowledge of safety protocols and no prior experience is necessary.

Conduct routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data. Prepare for and assist the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Perform patient assessments and provide patient care. Evaluate the appropriateness of examination and assess the quality of radiographic images. Hours vary based on needs of department – primarily nights and weekends.
