Qualifications

• Current and valid Radiology Technologist Limited License in Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with limited scope.
• Current student of an AMA accredited program in medical imaging and has passed the limited license exam.
• IEMA required in Radiation Technology Limited Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging within the limited license scope.
• Prepare and position patients for radiographic examinations.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Review images for clarity and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
