Mercy Home Health is seeking a Radiological Technologist in Cincinnati to perform diagnostic imaging under an authorized user, ensuring safe, quality care and accurate documentation. The position offers full-time hours with day and afternoon shifts in a hospital-based radiology setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, a related associate degree, and prefer state licensure where required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from ARRT-accredited program preferred.
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• State licensure preferred where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and lab data for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient for optimal imaging.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures with imaging equipment and accessories.
• Complete pre- and post-procedure documentation and informed consent.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiographic procedures; maintain aseptic technique.
• Conduct timeouts per policy.
• Identify, prepare and/or administer medications/contrast as prescribed.
