Backus Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging across ambulatory and acute settings. You will position patients, operate x-ray equipment and provide patient care to aid diagnosis and treatment.

The role may include fluoroscopic procedures as needed. Requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, CT radiographer license, ARRT certification within 120 days of graduation, and BLS.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120 days of graduation for new graduates)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various locations, including ambulatory or acute settings.
• Position patients, operate diagnostic x-ray equipment and provide patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• May perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
• Contribute to patient safety and image quality through proper technique and documentation.
