Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of recent related work experience.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
• WA licensure for Medical Radiographer upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares/operates radiology equipment for the correct size, depth and detail of a requested exposure area.
• Explains procedures to patients and responds to questions.
• Utilizes equipment/accessories and employs techniques to protect the patient and staff from unnecessary radiation.
• Ensures results are consistent by proper use of equipment and accessories.
• Cleans equipment after each use.
• Delivers patient care for all age groups while performing radiological exams and/or procedures.
