Job summary

HonorHealth's Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety and image quality. The role requires ARRT certification and Radiography training, with opportunities to work across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completion of an ARRT accredited program required
• Other / Certificate Radiography program or US military Radiography training required
• Associates degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a radiologist, performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Transports patients and assists with positioning using safe handling techniques.
• Performs radiology procedures and ensures patient safety and comfort; administers contrast materials as required.
• Initiates emergency response to contrast reactions if needed.
• Obtains and evaluates images for technical quality assurance factors.
• Utilizes RIS, PACS and other image management systems as needed.
• Rotates through department; participates in orientation and training of staff.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment and stocks supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
