AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for day shifts. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain exam rooms. A $10k sign-on bonus and relocation bonus are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications include ARRT RT(R) certification, CPR, and relevant imaging experience; one year post-certification preferred. Role emphasizes ALARA principles and cross-training into advanced modalities.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in diagnostic imaging to include Surgery and Trauma.
• Post-certification experience preferred for evaluating radiographs.
• Ability to analyze data, techniques, and equipment operation for quality control.
• Proficiency with radiographic equipment and safety standards.
• Excellent communication with patients, staff and physicians.
• Maintain licensure, continuing education and patient care standards.
• Readable, writeable English required and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties including monitoring patient condition and transport.
• Keeps exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready; notifies when inventory is low.
• Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed and follows ALARA concepts.
• Maintains image quality and radiation safety for patients and staff.
