Qualifications

• ARRT certification current.
• Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) required.
• BLS certification preferred or required by employer.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a Board-approved radiography program.
• Must obtain Kansas Radiologic Technologist license before performing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by licensed providers.
• Verify patient identity and orders before imaging.
• Explain procedures and position patients to obtain quality images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely; follow ALARA principles.
• Maintain EMR and PACS documentation.
• Assist radiologists and physicians with imaging as needed.
• Monitor patients during exams and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies.
