Job summary

Southeast Medical Group is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join our primary care team across Cumming and Alpharetta. You will perform general radiography with attention to high-quality patient care, working closely with providers and staff to select the best exams and ensure patient safety.

The role emphasizes accurate positioning, radiation protection, patient communication, and collaboration with the ancillary team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Allied Health or Sciences.
• Passed the ARRT registry or in good standing to take exams.
• Knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning for exams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment with multitasking.
• Strong time management, detail orientation, reliability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient information and orders are followed.
• Explain procedures and position patients for exams.
• Reduce radiation exposure using protection and proper factors.
• Produce quality images with proper orientation and markers.
• Critique images for completeness and potential anomalies.
• Keep logs and ensure reports reach radiologists timely.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment and assist with clinic tasks.
