Job summary

AdventHealth in Louisville, CO is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures, position patients, and maintain high imaging standards. You will ensure patient safety, manage equipment, and document in EMR/PACS while upholding department procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT RT(R))
• CPR certification required
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred
• Must follow safety and infection control protocols
• Able to learn and use radiology software packages
• Maintain required registries and licenses

Responsibilities

• Move/position radiographic equipment for procedures
• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient condition
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked
• Maintain equipment safety checks and inventory
• Follow ALARA principles for patient/staff exposure
• Perform high-quality radiographic imaging meeting standards
• Document accurately in EMR and PACS
• Assist patients with comfort, safety and privacy
• Cross-train in advanced modalities as needed
• Maintain professional relationships with diverse staff
