Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a radiologic technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment under supervision to obtain radiologic images used for diagnosis and treatment planning. The role supports the Radiology Supervisor and radiologist in delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT certification, SC Radiation Quality Standards license, CPR certification, and have completed an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum Years of Experience: None
• Required Certifications/Licensure: ARRT certification; SC Radiation Quality Standards Association license; CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Recognize emergency patient conditions and initiate lifesaving first aid.
• Apply knowledge of PACS to provide quality images for interpretation.
• Maintain cleanliness of radiographic room and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked.
• Perform all duties as assigned by authorized personnel or in emergencies (fire/disaster).
• Demonstrate professional conduct and service excellence; follow HIPAA guidelines.
