Minimum education includes AMA-approved radiologic technology training; ARRT certification and SC licensing are required. The position emphasizes patient care, safety, and accurate documentation in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; possess SC Radiation Quality Standards Associate License.

Responsibilities

• Initiates patient charging for CT procedures and related supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness of CT Area and equipment.
• Performs CT procedures and assists with diagnostic x-ray as time permits.
• Provides radiation protection in accordance with state and federal standards.
• Maintains daily log of patients and ensures images are sent to PACS.
