Job summary

Radiology Tech at Your Talent Team in Harper, KS is a hospital role performing diagnostic imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment. You’ll operate X-ray and CT equipment, position patients, ensure comfort and safety, review images, and maintain records while following radiation safety guidelines.

The role includes after-hours on-call rotation with compensation; a CAH facility with 25 beds and on-site efficiency apartment for on-call use; licensure in Kansas and ARRT required; CT experience

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Kansas.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Proven experience in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
• CT experience and general X-ray proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray and CT to produce high-quality images.
• Position patients accurately to capture optimal images for diagnosis.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Review images for quality and clarity and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to interpret images and support patient care.
• On-call rotation after hours with on-site efficiency apartment available for use.
