What you need to know about this position:

• Broad Imaging Services Department performing approximately 80,000 exams annually, including CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and all digital X-Ray.
• Supports Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Departments.
• Uses x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs computed tomography procedures to create sectional images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Base hourly rate is $31.97, with compensation based on experience, plus shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. A comprehensive benefits package is also available.
• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours/week, scheduled as 4 days of 10 hours each, from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.

Requirements for this position:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, completion of a military radiology program, or hospital-based radiology program approved by ARRT.
• At least one year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months of graduation.
• Current ARRT registration required within 90 days of graduation; CE credits must be maintained.
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) with ARRT required within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Physical requirements include frequent use of hands and arms, walking, sitting, reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
