Job summary

Qualifications

• California radiographer license (CA) required.
• ARRT registered Radiography Technologist.
• Fluoroscopy tech certification in CA within 90 days.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• Clinical radiologic technology training with hospital rotations.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging terminology.
• Radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Experience with RIS and PACS systems.
• Knowledge of routine radiographic procedures and patient prep, including contrast.
• Safety practices in the patient examination environment.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and others.
• Ability to perform general radiologic procedures meeting quality standards.
• Handle allergic reactions and emergencies during exams.
• Service oriented, courteous with patients and staff.
• Empathetic handling of distressed patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records.
• Coordinate multiple assignments with precise documentation.
• Maintain high accuracy in procedural details.
• Operate information system computers in the dept.
• Work in a sterile environment.
• New grads with customer service and teamwork skills welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic images including X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, and MRI.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with regulatory standards.
• Prepare and update film/file records following dept protocols.
