Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and critiques radiographs.
• Applies radiation safety principles during image acquisition.
• Coordinates imaging support in the operating room, patient care units, and clinics.
• Assesses patient vital signs during procedures.
• Reports equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
• May assist in orienting and mentoring new employees or students.
• Prepares, cleans, and stocks rooms with supplies.
