The Center for Rheumatology, LLP. in Albany is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to operate digital X-ray and DEXA machines. The successful candidate will maintain equipment, prepare patients, and follow safety protocols.
Applicants must have graduated from an approved Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT registration, and possess NYS licensure. Additional certifications in DEXA and ultrasound are preferred.
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and using equipment and supplies necessary to demonstrate portions of the human body on digital x-ray machine and DEXA machine. Additional responsibilities include duties associated with a Medical Assistant – X-Ray, including but not limited to, preparing patients for the X-Ray department.

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration. NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 90 days of hire.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software. Additionally, a working knowledge of digital X-ray machine. Certification in DEXA and ultrasound is a plus.
