Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist Assistant to support Medical Imaging Technologists and ensure prompt patient care. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and comprehensive EMR management within Memorial Health System.

Typical duties include clerical tasks for registration, patient transport, imaging assistance, and adherence to infection control practices. PRN schedule with standard benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • High school education required.
  • Enrolled in Radiologic Tech Program.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Clerical experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties for patient registration into the Radiology information System.
  • Transport patient to and from the imaging procedure room.
  • Provide patient assistance during the imaging exam process.
  • Utilize proper infection control practices.
  • Embodies Memorial Health System’s Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency standards.
  • Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, Physicians and fellow employees.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in area of assignment.
  • Stock rooms.
  • Fold linen.
  • Assist imaging staff with inventory management.
  • Take call as required.
  • Manage phone calls.
  • Under licensed staff, mix oral contrast per Radiologist approved protocol.
  • Under licensed staff, load the pressure injectors per Radiologist approved protocol.
  • Performs other related work as required.

Overview

Working as a Radiologic Technologist Assistant you will be working with the area assigned, provide support to the Medical Imaging Technologist to ensure promptness and efficiency of the patient care process. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging experience to include comprehensive electronic medical record management.

USD $17.14/Hr.

USD $26.56/Hr.
