Job summary

Phelps Health, serving the heart of small-town Missouri, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams and document results for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT(R) certification (or eligibility with 30 days to sit and 90 days to pass), and BLS certification. Experience with patient transfers and safety is valued as part of our imaging team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT(R) registration or eligibility with registration within 90 days of hire.
• BLS through the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates schedule flexibility, punctuality and availability, and works well under pressure.
• Communicates semi-complex information; sets priorities; organizes multiple tasks and meets time schedules.
• Provides patient care and safe transfers with adaptive equipment, as required.
• Maintains patient and department records and ensures patient safety.
• Responds to patient requests and keeps patients informed of exam status.
