Intermountain Health seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, maintaining image quality, safety, and patient comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will verify orders, prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians.

The role emphasizes protocol adherence, infection control, and education of patients and junior staff, with a focus on continuous improvement and teamwork within the imaging department.

Formación

• ARRT (R) certification required or equivalent.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice.
• BSL for healthcare providers.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in clinic.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Performs exams per protocol; reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains safety.
• Completes studies within acceptable time without compromising care.
• Instructs students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort and addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques; operates equipment and information systems.
