St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a fast-paced Diagnostic Radiology Department. The role involves fluoroscopy, OR, GI/pulmonary, and general X-ray procedures, with emphasis on patient communication and safety.

Applicants must hold Wisconsin radiographer licensure, ARRT RT registration, and BLS certification within 6 months. 1st shift, weekend/holiday rotation, and call shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• Wisconsin state Radiographer license and ARRT RT registration.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation safety.
• Identify patients, label images, and ensure exam accuracy.
• Assist radiologists and document billing codes in the system.
• Handle patient transfer duties and adhere to age-specific care needs.
