Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in South Carolina is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist. You will work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment to capture detailed X-ray images, aiding in diagnosis and treatment planning across MUSC’s network of hospitals and clinics statewide.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration (within 6 months if needed), SC licensure, and a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures requiring understanding of positioning and physiology.
• Apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging in adults and/or pediatric patients.
• Demonstrate high technical competency in imaging procedures.
• Exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision.
