Radiologic Technologist $10k Sign on Bonus

University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute clinical procedures: Perform general radiology including fluoroscopy across various locations and patient types. Select appropriate technical factors for each patient, demonstrating knowledge and skills suitable for the patient's age.
2. Apply radiology knowledge: Use principles of anatomy, physiology, radiation protection, physics, radiographic positioning, and patient care. Comply with regulatory standards from Joint Commission, State, Federal, and departmental agencies.
3. Document activities: Record patient care activities accurately in electronic health records systems.
4. Maintain safety and supplies: Ensure a safe work environment, manage supplies and inventory, and report equipment or environmental issues per policy.
5. Participate in improvement initiatives: Engage in departmental and organizational efforts to enhance workflows, patient experience, and quality. Contribute to training and educational activities for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from an accredited program recognized by USDE or CHEA.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Licensure/Certifications: Registered with ARRT, licensed as Radiographer in MD, and BLS Certified.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $31.78 - $44.50 per hour
