Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Maintains imaging quality by following established standards and procedures.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and build rapport.
• Prepares patient and area for the procedure and adjusts equipment accordingly.
• Follows safety, infection-control, and radiation policies to protect patients and staff.
• Maintains equipment and work areas to meet quality standards.
• Reports issues and assists in maintaining supplies inventory.
• Screens individuals entering the department according to policies.
• Obtains and verifies all relevant documentation for exams and patient history.
• Maintains imaging records in the appropriate system for timely interpretation.
