Job summary

York Hospital in Maine is seeking an X-ray technologist to join our imaging team. The role covers X-ray services at the main campus and seven walk-in facilities, with CT services available at select sites. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for successful applicants.

Under the direction of a board-certified radiologist, you will safely operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic quality images and support patient care across multiple locations in Southern Maine and the NH seacoast.

Qualifications

• 1+ yrs X-ray experience preferred (CT experience preferred but not required).
• BLS Certification required.
• Maine RT Licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of X-ray exams on patients of all ages.
• Detailed documentation of procedures.
• Consent/screening patients for ionizing radiation and/or CT contrast.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients and co-workers.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude in a busy clinical environment.

We have a new opening for an X-ray technologist. Experience and/or licensure in CT is preferred but not required. The York Hospital Imaging Team is responsible for providing X-ray services at the main hospital campus as well as our seven walk-in care facilities - York, Wells, Sanford, Kennebunk, Berwick, South Berwick, and Kittery. We provide CT services and the main hospital campus, Wells, and Sanford.
Under the direction of a board certified radiologist, the X-ray technologist will be responsible for safely operating X-ray to produce diagnostic quality images.

Primary responsibilities include:

• performing a variety of X-ray exams on patients of all ages
• detailed documentation
• consenting/screening patients for ionizing radiation and/or CT contrast
• excellent communication with patients and co-workers
• positive attitude

In order to help us continue to provide exceptional patient experiences, we are looking for a candidate with the following:
