Job summary

Regency Hospital - Cleveland West is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the per diem imaging team in Warrensville Heights, OH. You will perform radiographic, fluoroscopic and CT exams, position patients, and ensure quality images while maintaining safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT or CMRT certification, a state license, and BLS certification, with at least three years of experience. Per diem schedule offers flexible hours and a supportive radiology department environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3) years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license.
• ARRT or CMRT certification.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process of the scans and properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images.
• Operate equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissues.
• Understand and complete necessary requisitions for ordered exams in a timely manner and schedule all exams accurately.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic and CT exams on patients both in the department and with portable equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability to inject IV contrast media, as needed.
• Perform a variety of examinations, reconstructions and various printing protocols.
• Identify various types of mechanical and electronic equipment failures to accurately diagnose general problems with radiographic machines and processors.
• Explain the procedure to the patient and answer any questions related to the equipment or procedure.
• Properly move and transport patients to and from the department, as required.
• Order necessary supplies and maintain par levels.
• Attend required in‑services and orientations.
• Work closely with floor staff and build positive relationships to facilitate excellent patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three (3) years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).

• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility‑specific equipment desirable.
