UNC Health is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Smithfield, North Carolina. You will conduct tests using radiology equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure patient safety while accommodating variable needs, mainly during nights and weekends.
The ideal candidate should possess an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Sciences and be registered or registry-eligible. A certification in Basic Life Support is also required. This per diem role offers compensation between $26.85 and $38.61 per hour based on experience.

Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data. Prepares for and assists the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures, including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Performs patient assessments, provides patient care, evaluates the appropriateness of examinations, and assesses the quality of radiographic images. Hours vary based on the needs of the department and are primarily nights and weekends.
