Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, Nebraska is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Department. The role involves performing X-ray, CT, mammography if qualified, and delivering compassionate patient care in a rural setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and radiologists, maintain equipment and QA, and participate in training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation. ARRT registered or eligible, Nebraska license, and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registry in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography (if qualified).
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in department training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation.

Position Highlights

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, Bone Densitometry, and Mammography (if qualified)
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate patient diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team
• Maintain imaging equipment, quality assurance standards, and PACS documentation
• Participate in department training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation as scheduled

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligible for certification
• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License (or eligible)
• CT and Mammography experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork
