Job summary

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, Nebraska seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Department. This team delivers a range of imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and possibly mammography, in a supportive rural setting.

You will provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with physicians and radiologists. The role requires ARRT registry, Nebraska license, BLS, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registry in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska.
• CT and Mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Bone Densitometry, and Mammography (if qualified).
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in department training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation.

• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License (or eligible)
