A healthcare organization in Palm Coast is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and assist patients. The role requires current ARRT certification and at least one year of experience or a recent graduate from an accredited program. This full-time position includes day shifts and participation in on-call duties.

Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Days; Mon-Fri: 2p - 10:30p
OnCall: one week of call, per 6weeks; Mon-Fri: 11p-7a and Sat/Sun 24hrs

The role you’ll contribute:
Performs Radiographic imaging procedures. Positions, moves, and assists patients. Performs clerical duties. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Performs Radiographic imaging procedures.
Cross train into CT, MRI or Mammography as needed.
Positions patient and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards, in a safe, timely manner.
Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information.
Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
One year experience preferably in radiology or a new graduate of accredited radiologic technology program. Experience required before working unattended or high-volume shifts without supervision. Following orientation of one month, technologist should be able to work independently with supervisor or other workers available for assistance. Within three months technologist should be able to work independent shift and participate in standby call.
Current ARRT certification Florida license in Radiography required.
