TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week onsite assignment in Milwaukee, WI. The role runs a night shift (10 hours) from 2200 to 0830, Monday through Thursday, with an on-site radiologist by day and 24/7 on-call support.

Responsibilities include fluoroscopy, general radiography, pediatric and trauma imaging, and PACS workflow management. The ideal candidate has 1 year of radiology experience, BLS, ARRT certification, and a Wisconsin license.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in radiology.
• BLS, ARRT, and Wisconsin license required.
• Travelers with radiology experience preferred; OR/fluoro cases may be limited.

Responsabilités

• Perform fluoroscopy and general radiography across patient types (trauma, OR, inpatient, outpatient).
• Work with on-site radiologist reading during the day; support 24/7 on-call team as needed.
• Maintain EPIC/PACS workflows and equipment readiness; ensure safety and infection control.

General Information

• Beds: 2 general 2 fluoro, 2 ED

Experience: 1 year

First-time traveler: Yes, if more than 2 years. Would prefer travel experience though

Patient Types:

• Fluoroscopy, trauma, general, OR, inpatient, outpatient
• Will care for peds (including neonates/NICU) through adult

Average Daily Census:

• Around 100 patients through department

Required Certifications:

• BLS, ARRT, Wisconsin License

Skills required

• Experience with the above patient types; travelers typically do not perform OR or fluoro cases
• Mostly general x-ray: head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, chest, etc.

Support on the Unit:

• Manager/Supervisor during the day
• Lead Tech 24/7
• Radiologist on site reading during the day, offsite at night
• Hospitalist
• RT 24/7
• Rapid Response/Code Team

Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC
• Alaris
• Pyxis
• PACS: McKesson
• Unit equipment: Fuji, Siemens, Client

Floating:

• Portables throughout the facility – traveler first

Orientation:

• NEO
• Up to 1 week of unit orientation

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: dependent on requisition. Could be very weekend depending on need
• Approval of RTO: to go through manager
• Will they be on call: If so, what is that schedule:
• Yes, varies. Will not take call if working weekends normally.
• 30-minute response time
• Holiday Expectations: if holiday falls on scheduled shift, will work it
• Scheduling: will typically have a set schedule
