Froedtert Health is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist or other providers, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology, operates imaging equipment, performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures, adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives, provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff, performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology.
• Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic studies according to established guidelines and protocols.
• Use appropriate radiation protection measures.
• Adhere to organizational customer service standards.
• Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.
• Rotate through the areas of Ortho Clinic, General X‑ray, Sports Medicine Clinic, Cysto, and Bluemound Rehab Hospital.

Required Qualifications

• One year of current clinical experience or clinical student experience.
• Self‑motivated.
• Ability to organize and prioritize well.
• Ability to remain flexible and reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.

Required Education

• Post high‑school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Preferred Education

• Additional 1‑2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare‑related field.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology.
• Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent.
