Job summary

RadNet in Los Angeles is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams, monitor patient well-being, and support physicians in a dynamic clinical environment. You will safeguard patient information and property while delivering compassionate care.

Requirements include ARRT certification, State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and BLS. One year of imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property in accordance with policies.
• Handle medications per company policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R) certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification

Pay Range:

$32.00 – $38.00 per hour
