Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams with a commitment to high image quality and patient care. The role emphasizes compassionate, holistic care and adherence to safety standards across patient populations.

You will work in a fast-paced radiology department, applying the latest imaging techniques while ensuring accuracy, patient education, and teamwork with the department staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered and BLS certified.
• One year acute care experience preferred or new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams with focus on patient care and image quality.
• Demonstrate growth/development knowledge for lifecycle patient needs.
• Assess patient learning needs and deliver teaching as appropriate.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care upholding patient rights and dignity.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams, providing the highest level of customer service and image quality.

What You'll Do in This Role

• You'll demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the patient populations served in your department.
• You'll demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
• You'll assess patients'/families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching.
• You'll deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
• You'll demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for the radiological department.

What Qualifications You'll Need

• Must be a graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
• ARRT registered.
• One year experience in acute care strongly preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
