KIOWA DISTRICT HOSPITAL is looking for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging team in Kiowa, KS. You'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort while capturing high-quality images.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in good standing.
• Licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• CT experience preferred but not required.

Overview

Kiowa District Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.

What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using stationary and portable radiographic equipment.


• Obtain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity.


• Perform routine radiographic examinations, including trauma and surgical procedures.


• Assist with CT and DEXA imaging procedures according to department protocols.


• Safely prepare and position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images.


• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to ensure patient and staff safety.


• Prepare and administer contrast agents within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.


• Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.


• Assist with scheduling exams, coordinating imaging services, and communicating with patients.


• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within imaging systems.


• Perform quality control activities and assist in maintaining imaging equipment and department operations.

What We're Looking For
