Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Title: Radiologic Technologist

Shift: Nights Shifts. 6PM-6:30A

Duration- 13 Weeks Contract (Strong Possibility of Extension)

Local Pay Range: $64- $67

Travel Pay Range: $65- $68

Job Summary

Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring safety, comfort, and proper technique.
• Operate CT imaging equipment, adjust settings, and monitor scan quality in real time.
• Administer contrast media as prescribed, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow safety protocols.
• Review and verify patient information and clinical history to ensure correct imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and assist with specialized procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation in the PACS system.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and report malfunctions as needed.
• Support a compassionate, patient-centered care environment.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have Associates degree in Applied Science in Radiology
• Must have peripheral IV insertion experience or be willing to obtain training.
• At least 1 year's experience in Hospital Setting required
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and independently.
• Strong people skills, good communicator.
• Will be responsible for transporting patients to and from ED
