Overview

Temporary Opportunity for 3 months! Step into an exciting and dynamic role as a mobile Radiologic Technologist, where you'll bring life-saving diagnostic imaging directly to patients in diverse locations. From supporting the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries, to playing a key role in enhancing patient care, image quality, and operational efficiency, you'll make a tangible impact on every patient you serve. What You'll Do

• Travel by vehicle to perform portable x-rays in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams.
• Determine proper electronic and technical factors based on patient needs.
• Follow ALARA principles for reducing radiation exposure.
• Prepare accurate physician and patient orders and transmit reading as required in a timely manner.
• Set, adjust, and operate a variety of portable electronic equipment to obtain diagnostic images that may include EKGs and Holter Monitor.
• Ensure the equipment is available and in working order (in the vehicle) prior to shift start and shift end.
• Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
• Take good care of vehicle; ensure that the vehicle is well stocked with necessary supplies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of company computers, systems, programs and digital x-ray technology.

What You Need

• Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including one or more of the following:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
  • State x-ray license (if applicable)
• Has a valid state-issued driver's license and maintains a good driving record
• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends
