Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of related work experience.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares/operates radiology equipment for the correct size, depth and detail of the requested exposure area according to physicians’ orders and department protocols.
  • Explains procedures to patients and responds to questions.
  • Utilizes equipment/accessories and employs techniques to comfort and protect the patient, self and others from unnecessary radiation.
  • Utilizes equipment/accessories and employs techniques to ensure results are consistent.
  • Cleans equipment after each use.
  • Delivers patient care for all ages while performing radiological exams and/or special procedures.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Prepares/operates radiology equipment for the correct size, depth and detail of a requested exposure area, based on physicians’ orders and in adherence to department protocols.

  • Work experience involving the current technical aspects of patient care in a radiology department
